For Authors

Submission Guidelines

Authors are invited to submit original, unpublished research papers that are not under review elsewhere. All submissions must comply with the following requirements:

  1. Papers must be written in English.
  2. Papers must follow the two-column conference format, up to 8 pages including references, figures and tables.
  3. All submissions are subject to double-blind peer review by at least 2 independent reviewers. Author names and affiliations must be removed from the manuscript before submission.
  4. The first step is submission of an abstract (300–500 words) using the conference abstract template.
  5. Upon acceptance of the abstract, authors will be invited to submit the full paper.
  6. At least one author of each accepted paper must register and present the paper at the conference.
  7. Papers not presented at the conference will be excluded from the proceedings.

Online Submission

All paper submissions are managed through Microsoft CMT (Conference Management Toolkit), a free academic conference management platform. Please follow the steps below:

  1. Create a free account at cmt3.research.microsoft.com (if you do not already have one).
  2. Click the button below to go directly to the TIEMM 2027 submission page.
  3. Select "Create new submission" and complete all required fields.
  4. Upload your anonymised abstract (PDF or DOCX) following the conference template.
  5. You will receive an automatic confirmation email from CMT upon successful submission.

Publication & Indexing

All accepted and presented papers will be included in the Official Conference Proceedings, which will be made available in digital form (ISBN assigned).

Visa Invitation Letters

Authors requiring a visa invitation letter to attend TIEMM 2027 should contact tiem@physics.duth.gr well in advance of the conference. Please note that invitation letters are only issued after acceptance of the paper and payment of the registration fee.
